Very quiet day

18 February 1977 – Friday
Another morning at home; the weather cold and rainy. No mail. After lunch we took the laundry to the Launderette. I walked to Target Car-Hire (Swiss Cottage) and reserved a car for next week, then got some maps at W.H. Smith. Meanwhile, Alice & Susanna went to Barnes and got an umbrella for Susanna.
In the evening I called Pat O’Connell in Newbury and said we would like to visit on Sunday, Feb. 27. Brian will be leaving for Los Angeles that day.
