13 February 1977 – Sunday

After a brunch, we went via tube to Lancaster Gate Station and to Kensington Gardens. Susanna played on the swings & slide and we had a light picnic Alice had prepared. We walked along “The Serpentine” (pond) past Peter Pan statue and then to Victoria and Albert Museum. We saw the Disney artists exhibit, the Blake exhibit (Book of Job engravings), and the Cockerell manuscripts exhibit, and the Hoffnung cartoons exhibit. We ran into Evelyn Haller at the Blake exhibit. We returned home by 6:30 and had supper.
