Quiet day and Dover sole

9 February 1977 – Wednesday

Alice shopped again. After Lunch I took Susanna to Play-School. Then Alice and I went via Bakerloo and Piccadilly to Harrods where we looked around and bought a couple of books. I picked up Susanna while Alice picked up a few items at the store. We had fish for supper—Dover sole, very good.

Evelyn Haller called, inviting us to join them for supper & play (Duchess of Malfi) on Friday. Alice called Lucy Brown, but she wasn’t able to babysit at that time. We watched a little TV and wrote some letters.
